The Information We Collect
We collect information about you when you sign-up for dividetheride.com, including your: name, address, email address, telephone number, work number, cell phone number, cell phone carrier, emergency contact information, gender, child(ren)'s name, gender, date of birth and special instructions relating to your child as specified by you. We also collect the name, dates, description, times and location of your child(ren)'s activities. We also request your child(ren)'s coach's name and contact information.
It is your choice as to whether you would like to provide your information to us. You will still be able to view most of our website pages even if you choose not to provide information about yourself and/or family members. However, please be aware that if you choose not to provide the requested information, you will be unable to use our service, or access certain services, offers and content on our website.
Dividetheride.com may also collect certain information from visitors to and customers of the Site, such as Internet addresses. This information is logged to help diagnose technical problems, and to administer our Site in order to constantly improve the quality of the Service. We may also track and analyze non-identifying and aggregate usage and volume statistical information from our visitors and customers and provide such information to third parties.

We use the information you provide us to provide the dividetheride.com services. Specifically, we will use your contact information to send you email and text messages with notifications and reminders of carpool schedules and to provide you with updates to the schedule. We will also provide to persons/families that you have selected to be a part of your carpool group your contact information, information about the time, date, and location of the relevant events and special instructions regarding your child(ren). SUBJECT TO THE LIMITATIONS SET FORTH IN THE LAST PARAGRAPH OF THIS ‘HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION' SECTION, IN NO EVENT WILL YOUR CHILD(REN)'S SCHEDULE, PICK UP LOCATION, DROP OFF LOCATION, NAME OR SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS BE SHARED WITH ANY INDIVIDUALS OUTSIDE OF YOUR USER GROUP.
From time to time, we may use your information to contact you via e-mail, regular mail, or telephone to determine whether you are happy with our services and/or send you customer satisfaction surveys. We may also contact you to advise you of offers, promotions or other information from our sponsor companies. When you first sign up to participate in dividetheride.com, you have the option of not to receive these communications by clicking on the indicated box in the sign up process. Further, after you have signed up, you retain the ability to “opt out” of such communications by editing your profile and clicking on the indicated box. Editing, Updating, Correcting and Deleting Your Information
To edit, update or correct your information, simply click on “edit your profile” on the website and make the required changes. If you need additional support, please email support@dividetheride.com. Please note that any requests to remove or update your personal information through our email support may take up to ten days.
